About the project

Created by Mayor of London in partnership with DCM, LDN Filmmakers gives young people a platform to share their narratives and perspectives. Through writing, directing and editing, participants told their stories of life in London – stories that tend to be misunderstood by mainstream media.

You can watch some of the films, or go behind the scenes to hear how the programme has helped our filmmakers build serious self belief and valuable skills for their future.

Applications for LDN Filmmakers are now closed, but you can check out similar opportunities here: www.london.gov.uk/london-needs-you

The Films

The LDN Filmmakers had one week to create a short film that reflected social issues that young people currently face in London.
