Why did we get involved in this campaign?

Giving young Londoners the opportunity to create their own short films and tell their story on the big screen showcases the city’s vibrant culture whilst helping to reduce serious youth violence. This programme provides a platform for young Londoners to voice their own experience, challenging negative stereotypes about what it means to be a young person living in London, whilst gaining invaluable experience that moves them closer to their dreams

"London’s Violence Reduction Unit is proud to support this fantastic initiative that highlights the remarkable creativity and talent of our young people, and has given them the chance to tell their stories about life in the capital. It’s vital to provide opportunities for young people to help them choose the right path, develop skills and reach their potential. I congratulate everyone who took part for the powerful and thought-provoking work they have created and I’m delighted Londoners will be able to see the films in cinemas across the capital."
